I remember a while back someone posted about how their guess was always the next card picked by the computer. I noticed this at the time as well and have continued to notice it over the years.

I think I may have figured it out. If you apply the "Many Worlds" theory from quantum mechanics to the problem then it is simply a matter of timing as all cards are picked simultaneously.

You are simply off on your timing if you choose the wrong card.

Anyone else have any thoughts about this? [I've simplified this a great deal in order to make it concise and not bore anyone to death with details. Feel free to ask questions.]
